DiNitto Career Center

Visual Communication - Promotional Design - Merchandise Design

Where design meets social work

As the Social Media and Student Engagement Assistant for the DiNitto Center for Career Services, I work to create and design promotional graphics for the center's various events. I strive to bridge the communication between the career services and students, past and present, through various forms of visual communication such as social media graphics, monthly newsletters, or merchandise.

Duration: Spring 2024 - 14 weeks

Tools: Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop

Skills: Basswood 1/8in, Paper, Wood Paint, Metal Hinges

The designs have fun and engaging visuals for students to gain interest in our events. I aim to have clear visual communications and information, while carefully considering how copy and design interact with one another on various digital and printed platforms.

Through this position, I have developed the understanding of adapting various content and visuals to different print and web formats while maintaining accessibility and gaining a better understanding of user interactions with differing formats.
